#2500 Austin-Western Crane
At right is the elusive green and white
Austin-Western Telescoping Crane. Only the
1959 Nylint catalog showed the crane in this
color scheme.
Upon close inspection I found that the
metallic green paint job had actually been
applied OVER the more familiar red.
However, no yellow paint was found under
the white boom color.
A nice-looking but short-lived "upgrade." This
toy was discontinued from the Nylint line-up
by 1960.
