Due to its excellent looks, this is considered the most desirable of the many U-Haul box trucks Nylint
produced. It was only listed in the 1966 and 1967 catalogs, but was probably available in 1965.

The 1965 logo appears on this box. This truck was also offered in the November, 1965 Ford Times
magazine. So, it appears it was available prior to the debut of the 1966 catalog.

Although similar to the U-Haul van above, the Hertz version is many times rarer. It was only available
in 1967 and seems to have been produced in very limited numbers.

The well-recognized Hertz parallelogram appeared all over this truck. It was unusual in that it was
two-layered. Where the yellow lettering peeled off, it often left the black lower layer behind.

This truck displays well when parked next to a Buddy-L Hertz auto transport. There weren't too many
other Hertz trucks (if any) around during that period.
