This one's definitely a private label truck. And a most beautiful one at that! I would estimate the year
of production to be around 1968 or 69. In pristine condition like this, it's a real head-turner.

As a kid, I remember saying this all the time!
There were no markings on the box to indicate this was a Wurlitzer truck. Perhaps the mysterious
numbers in the upper left corner were the secret.

The Steer-O-Matic feature meant that if you tilted the cab of the truck to the right or left the front
wheels would automatically turn in that direction. Very handy. The production date is unknown.

Yellow fire equipment was a rarity in the toy industry. Exactly what year(s) this toy was produced is a
mystery to me. A hard to find toy. Makes a real impact in a fire truck collection.
